Ardnamurchan 2017 – Olo HHD #773P

We kochten van een liefhebber twee gepeate Ardnamurchan sherry hogsheads uit 2017: een Oloroso en een PX vat. Beide vaten zijn first fill, gaaf te ontdekken wat het uiteindelijke effect van twee verschillende soorten sherryvaten op de Ardnamurchan whisky gaat zijn.

We splitsen de fresh ex. Oloroso cask in 50 delen van 5 flessen. De intekenprijs per deel is € 125,-. Bij botteling is nog accijns, BTW, bottel- en transportkosten verschuldigd. Reken hiervoor op ca. € 100,- per deel o.b.v. de tarieven 2019. De verwachte all-in prijs per fles komt daarmee rond € 45,-.

From a fellow whisky enthousiast we bought two peated Ardnamurchan sherry hogsheads from 2017: an ex. Oloroso and an ex. PX hogshead. Both hogsheads are first fill, it will be fun to discover the influence of the different types of sherry casks on the Ardnamurchan whisky.

This fresh ex. Oloroso hogshead is split into 50 shares of 5 bottles, each share is € 125,- (to be paid now). When bottled in the future we will have to pay excise duty, VAT, bottling- and transportation costs. Based on tariffs 2019 that would be € 100,- per share (to be paid in the future). The all in price per bottle is approx. € 45,-.
